How our canvas prints are produced - Firstly, we purchase the paper print on your behalf. Using the latest technology, the image is sealed with a clear polyester film, which is produced especially for this purpose. It both protects and makes it easy to wipe clean.

Some artists, and companies, request that we do not seal the print over canvas, in these cases we adhere the print to the canvas, and it still looks good. This is stated on the few pages where this is required.

Overseas canvas orders can only be shipped as a rolled canvas. This is due to the high cost of shipping and insurance. The canvas is carefully rolled, wrapped, packed in a heavy quality tube, and sent by Recorded International Mail which includes transit and damage insurance. The cost of having your local framer put your canvas on to a frame is relatively inexpensive.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - The charge for canvas orders - THIS IS ONLY £6.95 for the first canvas print and £4.00 for each additional canvas print - Shipping is at a special subsidised rate. If you don't believe us just check the postage on the tube when you recieve your order.

Northern Ireland customers only - We are sorry but due to the high cost of carriage £25.00 and over, depending on weight, we can only offer the canvas only option (without being stretched over a frame). Stretcher framing is inexpensive and will be available at your local gallery/framer.

For Mainland UK customers only - If you wish we can stretch the print on a frame, ready for you to hang - Please see the images at the bottom of this page . The depth of the final finished canvas on the frame is approximately 1.25" (3.17500cm). The frame that your canvas is stretched over is for UK customers only - There are two different styles for you to choose from. Please see the images at the bottom of this page.

One - The most popular is to have the canvas with an off white edge so that the full image is shown on the front (Museum Wrap). This is the finish we shall produce for you unless you choose Gallery Wrap, details of this is in the next paragraph. Please see the images below for Museum Wrap and Gallery wrap.

Two - The image extends around the four edges of the frame as shown in the right hand picture below. This is called "Gallery Wrap". If you would like this option just enter in the comments box at the checkout "Wrap over edge, or Gallery wrap ". This is more suitable for abstract art and is not recommended for figurativeitems. Please note - You would loose approximately 1" (3cm) on each side, top, and bottom and could cut off feet, legs, heads, lamps etc, as well as the artist's signature. The list could go on. We do have customers asking can it be changed but once it has been cut and framed it cannot be changed. Please see the images below.

How long will it take to produce, All canvas items are made to order and take approximately 4 weeks to dispatch/ship.

FOR THE UK ONLY - If you wish to have your canvas print to be stretched on a frame it will take an extra 5/10 working days - WE DO NOT DO THE FRAMING OURSELVES - We use an independent framer.

Canvas orders stretched on a frame, UK only. £5.95 for up to four canvas prints and £4.00 for each extra canvas print purchased. These are sent by a carrier "City Link" within the UK. Our packaging is second to none and all prints are packed in secure strong packaging and your package is insured against any damage or loss during transit. Please note; All stretcher framed orders are only delivered to a UK residential or business premises.

British Forces Overseas (BFPO) - We are sorry but we cannot send canvas prints on a frame due to the high price. But we can send flat canvases rolled in a tube. The cost of having your local framer put your canvas on to a frame is relatively inexpensive.

Payment by Deposit or in full. We realise that not everyone likes, or can, pay for canvas prints at time of order. We do ask for a minimum deposit of 50% and the balance when your order is ready to dispatch/ship. If you wish to pay in two parts please enter in the comments box, at the shopping cart checkout, "50% deposit" and we will ensure you pay in two payments. If you do not request to pay a deposit only your card will be charged the full amount. With all canvas orders we operate a manual system of payment so we can monitor any special requirements.

Please Note - Important! Canvas prints are produced to order for the customer.   Once ordered by the customer we cannot accept cancellations or a return for refund or credit. We can if you wish, send you the paper print for your perusal, which would be charged for. You can then either return the print for transferring to canvas or for full credit. PLEASE NOTE! - Hanging a print above a fire place or radiator - If this is your intention you must securely affix the frame to the wall by all four corners otherwise warping of the frame can occur. Artland.co.co can take no responsibility for any damage caused by hanging incorrectly.
Very large prints - These may need extra fixings to the wall. With extra large prints this is a must, even if the print is not over a fire or radiator.
