Artist: Talantbek Chekirov
| Profile: TALANTBEK CHEKIROV, was born in 1971 in the former Soviet republic of Kyrgystan. Chekirov visited the State College of Art from 1986 to 1990 and acquired detailed knowledge in the fields of plastic anatomy, graphics and composition. After completing his education in 1990 he took over the artistic staging of the scenery at the world famous Bolschoi Theatre in Moscow and between 1992 and 1994 he traveled through Europe to study works and artists that had been kept obscured from him at college. Chekirov’s works are extracts of his rich and broadly situated ideas concerning the ideal notion of beauty in painting and is an interesting new discovery in the sphere of ornamental art, with his paintings showing varied aspects of the beautiful and decorative art.
