HERIBERT ELZER interprets classic painting techniques of the 18th and 19th century into extremely modern ways.  His very varied works of art are created mainly in oil, as Grisaille or pencil drawings. Portrait motifs play a key role, For him, these reflect not only the outer facade but also seem to offer an insight into the character and soul of a person being portrayed. 
Elzer's inimitable style reaches a wide audience and many motifs can be admired in public and private collections between Bonn and Rome, including impressive portraits of well-known personalities.
