Artist: Casaro
Profile: Dream Factory Artist

A combination of enthusiasm for the medium of film since his earliest youth, artistic talent, and creativity have turn-ed Casaro, born in 1935 in the northern Italian town Treviso, into one the most important illustrators in film advertising. In Rome, the Mecca of the European film industry during the 1950s, he developed his artistic signature: a hyperrealism with photographic exactness. With his poster message for the film ”For a Handful of Dollars“ with Clint Eastwood in 1964, Casaro convinced the top names of the business. Numerous international awards – the most recent of which is the ”Jupiter“ he received for the best film poster for ”Dances With Wolves“ – confirm that the artistic standards of his works never fall victim to sheer commercialism.
