Henri DEUIL was born on September 30th, 1943 in Paris. At the age of 19, he entered the National School of Decorative Arts. He enjoys the light and the seascapes of the Atlantic Ocean and its islands, the narrow streets bordered by white houses with green or blue shutters bleached by the sun and sea spray, the roses with their vivid colours, beach houses, the old ships, the wild coast, the sea. Henri paints around a hundred canvases a year that he exhibits at Ile d'Oléron, Ile de Ré, and in galleries specializing in marine paintings.
