Artist: Wendy Reeves
Profile: Born in Surrey in 1944, Wendy Reeves inherited much of her artistic talent from her father, who was a professional artist.

She had no formal art training and at the age of 21 she moved to Spain, where her love for landscapes began. The early Spanish influences are reflected in the rich pink skies and the profusion of ochre light so typical of her work. Later in her career she travelled extensively through the British Isles participating in many local exhibitions; the landscapes of Scotland always providing her main source of inspiration.

Wendy Reeves has mastered several different media but usually produces her work either in oil or in pastel. Her originals of the stunning landscapes of the highlands of Scotland or the wilds of Ireland sell as fast as she can produce them and her work is admired by collectors all over the world.
