CANVAS INFORMATION
- Prints on Canvas
This technique is widely used and offers the opportunity to place an image onto the canvas without the need of direct canvas printing. A paper print is professionally mounted – using special adhesive and sealed with a clear polyester film onto the canvas. This both protects and makes the canvas easier to clean. If the print has a border it will be the image size that you will see on the canvas. The image size in most cases is shown on our website in brackets next to the print size. We use the Museum wrap and the edges of the canvas will be off white. We can supply most prints on canvas. As canvas orders are produced to order for the customer, once orders have been accepted we are unable to accept cancellations.
Canvases are made to order and the process takes approximately 3 to 4 weeks to dispatch/ship.
- Canvas stretched on a frame
This option is for UK Mainland customers only. If you wish you can have your canvas stretched over a wooden frame, ready for you to hang. The depth of the finished canvas is approximately 1.25”(3.175cm) this process is carried out by our independent framer and takes an extra 5/10 working days.
- How will my canvas order be shipped?
UK Mainland – Your canvas order will be carefully wrapped and dispatched with our courier "City link". The stretched canvas will be insured for loss and damage. We will contact you in regards to dispatch details.
Northern Ireland – We are sorry but due to the high cost of shipping and insurance we can only offer the canvas only option as for overseas orders.
BFPO - We are sorry but due to the high cost of shipping and insurance we can only offer the canvas only option as for overseas orders.
Overseas – Overseas canvas orders can only be shipped as a rolled canvas. The canvas is carefully rolled, wrapped and packed in a heavy quality tube. It is sent by Royal mail’s International Airmail service. The cost of having your local framer put your canvas on to a frame is relatively inexpensive.

- After sales care *PLEASE NOTE*
Packaging is for transit only. Canvases should be removed from the packing on receipt, left to recover from being rolled, and should then be stored flat until you have it framed. Storing in the packaging for any length of time could cause damage.
Hanging a canvas above a fire place or radiator or hanging an extra large canvas – If this is you intention you must securely affix the frame to the wall by all four corners otherwise warping of the frame can occur.
