Renato Casaro was born in 1935 in Treviso, Northern Italy. At the age of 17 he received his first commissions for cinema-decoration in exchange for free tickets. At the age of 19 he moved to Rome and completed one year of voluntary work at Studio Favalli. At the age of 21 he opened his own studio in Rome becoming the youngest movie-painter in Italy. His first commissioned poster was for the German movie "Two Blue Eyes". His first international success was with the worldwide used Keyart for Dino de Laurentiis. In the following years he worked with the big names of the movie-scene: Leone, Lelouch, Coppola, Petersen, Bertolucci, Rosi, Besson and at Studios in LA. From 1979 he had numerous exhibitions and awards. In 1988 he prpared artwork for "The Last Emporer" and in 1991 for "Dances With Wolves", just to name a few. In 1988 he became an honorary citizen of his home town Treviso and holder of the medal TOTILA 1988 Honorar. Three of his most famous posters are: "Invitation"; "100 Years of Film" and "Paradise View".
